I entered open source software development with Apache Maven in 2005, as author of the first “real” (as we know them today) Maven repository manager, called Proximity. Later I was the lead developer of Sonatype Nexus 1.x and 2.x, both based on Proximity, at Sonatype. With over 20 years of experience developing software systems in the public service, telecommunications and publishing industries, I am an OSS enthusiast, and contributor or maintainer of multiple OSS projects.
My education includes BSc in Computer Science at the University of Szeged (Hungary) and I am still actively collaborating with the Department of Software Development.
My full CV is available at LinkedIn and as a shorter PDF here.
